目的
To investigate the effects of Nano-CeO2 modified amniotic membrane rods on the prevention and treatment of dry eye disease in perimenopausal rabbit model.
方法
Eighty female rabbits were randomly divided into 8 groups. The first 4 groups were not modeled as prevention groups: Group A was treated with sham preventive operation; Group B was performed without treatment; Group C was implanted with Nano-CeO2 amniotic membrane rod for 5 seconds and then removed; Group D was implanted with Nano-CeO2 amniotic membrane rod without removement. The other 4 groups were constructed with dry eye models as treatment groups: Group E was performed with sham treatment; Group F was modeled without any treatment; In group G, the Nano-CeO2 amniotic membrane rod was implanted into lacrimal passage for 5 seconds and then removed; Group H was implanted with Nano-CeO2 amniotic membrane rod on the day of modeling. All groups were observed for 6 weeks. The Schirmer I test (SIT), corneal fluorescein staining (FL), corneal confocal microscopy were performed before treatment and 2, 4 and 6 weeks after implantation.
结果
For the prevention groups, there was a statistical difference in the result of SIT and FL (P < 0.05), and in the density of epithelial basal cells and inflammation cells 6 weeks after intervention between group D and group A, B and C (P < 0.05). For the treatment groups, significant differences in the above indicators were observed between group H and group E, F and G 6 weeks after treatment (P < 0.05).
结论
Nano-CeO2 amniotic membrane rods have promising preventive and therapeutic effects on dry eye in perimenopausal rabbits, and can delay the occurrence and progress of dry eye to some extent.
